I’m Jeff
I am Jeff Chan, and this is my blog 
I consider myself a native Taiwanese. I currently live in San Jose, USA. I was born in Taiwan and grew up in Taiwan till 6. I spent my 1st and 2nd grade in the U.S. but went back to Taiwan for 3rd to 6th grade. I came back here in the U.S. for 7th grade. I speak very fluent Mandarin as well as Taiwanese and you can see I speak average English. I can speak, write, read in Chinese even better than I can do in English.
Technology
I have a strong interest in computer, technology, and the Internet. I enjoy coding and developing websites as well. I specially love to do PHP scripting specially knowing people can see your works. You can see some of my works at the Development section of this blog.
Freelance Work
I am talented and skilled in PHP with MySQL database intergration, XHTML, CSS, and Javascript. I’ve finished many different kinds of projects for many clients including website tweaking, coding PSD designs into valid XHTML CSS layouts, writing scripts and forum modifications/plugins, and building business websites.
If you are interested in working with me, I am open to any job offerings. I can work long-term or short-term. I offer very flexible services and will be to give free support afterwards anytime. Doing this kind of work is not all about money, it is all about the experience and fun, therefore my price range start from as low as only $5. My philosophy is to deliver the best service to my cleints, keep them updated, and to work until they are satisfied.
Translating
As a native Taiwanese, I can speak fluent Mandarin and write in Chinese. If you are looking for any Chinese translation job, I will be willing to help you. I am very passionate about delivering information to the Chinese people, therefore, if the objective of this translation is a good motive, such as open source software translation, I will be willing to do this for free. I’ve worked on many translation jobs including translating cooporate websites, personal websites, and even one-page documents. Contact me for more details.

You know they say, a programmer can’t design, and a designer can’t program. I am a programmer myself, and I considered myself “artistically challenged.” I’ve always been looking for designers that will be willing to work with me for a good cause.
