RAM Found?

My computer found my missing 256MB RAM? Is this insane?
I just had to do some testing with another 6G Maxtor hardrive, so I unplugged the power and cables to my current hardrive. Plugged it to the 6G Maxtor. After I did some testing, restored all the cables and rebooted. Guess what? It said 512…(something numbers I don’t remember) K .

    I own a computer repair store so some times that happens to me. What you need to do is take out the ram, put it back in, and if that does not work it probably shocked from not instaling the 6G Maxtor incorectly…. if that is the case you will need to by some new ram. if any other Q’s just say os

    RAM found??? Sounds like sunspots to me…

    Well 448 is what a 64 MB Graphics Card does to 512 MB RAM. Dunno how you managed to get 504. :|
