Schedule For 2007/2008

March is scheduling month at my school. I’m going to be a sophomore next year (yay!). Here are the classes I plan on taking.

  • English 2 Accelerated
  • Algebra 2
  • Chemistry
  • AP World History
  • Physical Education
  • Spanish 2

Unfortunately, I have no electives. It should be really interesting taking my first AP class. Interestingly, I’ll be taking my first AP exam this May, the AP Chinese Exam. I still need to study a bit more for that, but I think I can get a 4 at least. Besides AP World History, I might be taking the AP Computer Science A exam next year self-studying.

Lately, I’ve been really busy with Robotics meetings. We’re attending the Botball Northern CA competition in April. If we do win, we get to go to Nationals in Hawaii over the summer! I’m the programmer for both the two teams from my school.

    Nice schedule…any word on a the psats or sats? You look like a good student and you should do fine. AP classes aren’t too hard. I would follow the teacher…take a few practice exams (all the dbqs and fbqs are online so download those). I would also recommend getting a book that summarizes. I used The Princeton review for all of my tests and I did okay. Other than that study early and often. Good luck!

    Best of luck to you, Jeff. Seems like you’ll do great. Advanced courses sometimes seem like a great challenge before you start taking them. I always learned better when I studied with friends, it’s what got me through my toughest subjects.

    Not to shoot you down MQ, but I can’t study with any noise at all. When I study I lock myself in a room with no windows…I look at my watch about every 30 minutes to stay on task and that is it…I just bullet through the material. Everyone has their own way of studying. For me noise is my greatest bane.

    Yup. Everyone has their own preferences. I personally prefer a quiet place with absolutely no noise (and no computer :P ).
