The sign was up on the school quad on Tuesday. The whole school district was supposed to have a rally against the “supposed” budget cut, on that day at Sacramento, the state capital, but it was “canceled.”

    If students are going to try and stage a protest on something make sure it happens. Supposed protests that are scheduled but do not actually happen say quite a lot to the people in charge… A standard misconception that most teenagers make when they discover the virtue of free speech. I can say that a government really isn’t that interested in what a group of students would have to say seeing as they’re not tax payers - the parents are.

    In a nutshell if it’s scheduled, goto it.
