Time Management

I’ve been sick for the past week. Even though I had the week off, I accomplished nothing really except working on two school projects due tomorrow which I’ve yet to finish. It actually feels very good doing nothing, until you realize you have so much more things to do.

To bring up a good point, I really need to learn how to time manage. I draw timelines and plans for myself to finish projects. Most if not all the time I never can follow them. Not only that, procrastination gets into me as well. Any good tips?

    Talk to yourself outloud that helps with me. Don’t say it in your head. If I say something to yourself in your head it is easily manipulated. Remember to try not being so emotional or touchy feelly when it comes to doing stuff. If I tell myself that I feel tired…I will fall asleep because I’d rather fall asleep then work on homework. So try to be aware and state that to yourself outloud “Like I need to go to the stor right now”. Also if you say stuff in your mind you will lie to yourself. It is harder to lie to yourself when you say something out loud, it just sounds stupid. “I need to play this game right now” or ” I can put off studying for two hours” just makes you sound stupid…in fact after typing this I think I should get off the computer…oh said it in my mind I can rationalize palying longer. Good luck on your procrastination. It is something we all struggle with. Having people to be accountable too is also helpful. Int the end you must consider what you need to do more important than what you want to do…that is the hardest thing. Again, good luck.
