Windows Live Messenger 8.0 Beta

I’ve recieved an invite from a friend to join the Windows Live Messenger 8.0 Beta today. I just thought I would share a few pictures and my view on it.
Like most of Microsoft’s software updates, MSN Messnger gotten a new feel and look. You can customize the graphical interface and it looks more slick.
I haven’t seen much new features. You get to share file you put in a specific folder. There is a new option to call a number, maybe something like Skype. You also have more options to sort your contacts.
I find the big fat ass ad at the bottom really annoying, but other than that, not too many problems with it. Note that MSN Plus! or Mess.be patch does not work with it.

Also, I’ve been helping a friend of mine with his hosting site and I’m working alot with myBB. It is a great forum software and you don’t have to mod it too much. I specially love the template system it uses, very easy to use and seperates from the theme. I even wrote a custom cash mod for myBB, might release it if I have time to pack it up. I’m going to write a hosting mod later this week.
